Transport

Getting around Richmond is quite easy as it is served by a number of bus and South-West Train routes connecting the Borough together. Richmond is ideally situated only 20 minutes by rail from Central London and is only 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport. The Borough has easy links to the motorway network via the M3, M4 and M25 and to the rail network via the London terminii and the Reading rail hub. These provide easy access to the other London Airports and UK-wide destinations.

Richmond also has a District Line underground station, which provides access to the entire London tube network Coupled with this, the easily accessible bus terminals at Heathrow and Victoria provide another convenient travel option for exploring the country.

We can provide pick-up and drop-off to and from airports and accommodation, as well as chauffeur-driven journeys for one day or more - the use of an overnight driver must be confirmed at the time of booking. We can arrange for stretch limousines for special occasions and corporate escorts, or arrange for self-drive car hire should you wish to have more control and explore at your leisure. Coach and Rail services can also be arranged for group travel.

For a more active holiday and in support of our Green initiative, we have cycle hire available around the Borough and in neighbouring Kingston. Or for a scenic option, why not travel the Thames by booking a place on a scheduled ferry service from Hampton Court Palace to Westminster, or by chartering an entire vessel for groups.
